How to use the Paint Program

Each co-op must apply for their own credit account to receive these discounts. Use the “Application for Credit” form in the “Forms and Applications” section of this binder. Once your account is activated, members can shop at any General Paint store and receive the discount (see the page listing store locations). Co-ops will be invoiced monthly for their purchases.

If a member needs to charge a purchase to their co-op’s account, the co-op must give them a purchase order number. Without a purchase order, the member is responsible for payment.

Individual Member Use:

Individual members can use this program even before their co-op has opened an account with General Paint simply by identifying themselves as members of SACHA.

Preferred Painter's Club:

Co-ops can earn General Paint points redeemable for various home and office products (see the cnclosed “Preferred Painter’s Club” catalogue). There is a $20.00 per year fee to belong to this program. Your co-op would need to buy at least $3,000.00 of General Paint products to earn enough points to offset that fee.

If you decided not to join the club, the points are not wasted. SACHA has joined the program, and any points not redeemed by individual co-ops automatically go to SACHA’s account. We will eventually use the reward points and save money for the federation.

For more information about the points program, call the General Paint representative or SACHA.
