Ordering, Delivery and Service

Co-ops are now able to order directly from GE/Camco's Order Centre once they have opened their own account. An application form is available in the Co-op Advantage Binder. Fill it out and fax it to SACHA at 237-9181. Pricing is available at time of ordering.

If the order is faxed, make sure the following information is included:

• Model # and color
• Whether it is a 'drop shipment' or an 'uncrate and place
• A contact name and phone number
• If a dishwasher if being ordered, indicate if installation is required
• Removal of old appliance (if applicable)

This will ensure prompt shipping and delivery.

Unless the item ordered is out of stock (or on back order), delivery will be made two or three days later.

Invoices are due upon receipt.

Removal of old appliances

Removal must be requested at time of ordering. Charges will apply

Installation of appliances:
Arrangements can be made at time of ordering for installation of dishwashers. Current rate is $60.00.

Note:
Orders can still be placed through SACHA. Call Teresa Dewitt at (403) 233-0969 to place your order, or email her. There will be an additional 2% charge to cover this service.

Delivery:
Two kinds of delivery are available.

"Drop-Shipment" ($10.00 for each appliance within Calgary)
The delivery company brings the appliance to the unit (sometimes the appliance cannot be brought inside without removing the bulky packaging).

"Uncrate and Place" ($15.00 each appliance within Calgary)
The delivery company brings the appliance directly to the appropriate area, places it directly in front of where it will go, and takes away all the packaging.

When an appliance is delivered, you will be asked to sign a form stating that the appliance was delivered in good condition. Do not sign this form without inspecting the appliance for any obvious signs of damage that might have occurred during the shipping.

Service:

If you have a problem with the appliance program's services or products, you should first call GE/Camco's service department. If the issue is not resolved effectively, you should contact Audrey Templeton at 242-4765 or email.

Discounted pricing available on service and parts.

• $69.95 per completed call
• $59.95 per completed call if more than one appliance repaired. If the product is not repairable, your cost will be $49.95. Also available, special pricing on evaporators, compressors and transmission repairs

Member upgrades made easy
Co-ops can allow their members to buy an appliance with more features than what the co-op is purchasing, if the member is willing to pay the extra cost. The price of appliances is based entirely upon the number of units sold. It does not matter which model co-ops buy.
